You've built the muscle & nailed your nutrition. So why can't your poses show your hard work?

You've dialled in your nutrition. You've built the muscle. You've done the posing practice.

But when you're standing under those lights something still feels off.

Your glutes aren't popping the way they do in the gym. Your lats disappear the moment you try to spread them. You wobble when you hit your quarter turn. Your lower back takes over when it shouldn't. And no matter how many times you run your routine, your posing still feels like you're fighting your own body.

Posing problems are almost always movement problems.

If your body can't access the right muscles, if your thoracic spine is locked, your glutes aren't firing, your ankles are unstable, no amount of posing practice will fix it. You can't pose your way out of a movement dysfunction.

And stretching alone won't save you either. Stretching gives temporary relief. It doesn't address the root cause.

What you actually need is a system that wakes up the right muscles, in the right order, so your body is finally ready to perform when it counts.

The Team Behind It

Three world-class experts. One workbook that changes how you compete.

Dani Antonellos
Dani Antonellos
Osteopath, FMG Pro | United Health Education

Dani competed at FMG Pro level while building her career as an Osteopath. She knows firsthand what happens when your lower back does the work your glutes should be doing, because she lived it. Her clinical approach to muscle activation has helped thousands of patients and competitors eliminate pain, move better, and build physiques that actually perform on stage.

Julie Lock
Julie Lock
Body Composition & Performance Specialist | United Health Education

Julie has spent decades working with body composition clients and competitors across Australia and the US. One of the biggest differentiators she observed in elite athletes wasn't just muscle mass or symmetry. It was the way they moved. The ones who stood out had body control, mobility, and the ability to switch on key areas quickly. That presence doesn't come from posing alone.

Becc Gwilliam
Becc Gwilliam
Posing Coach & Director | Australian Posing School | PNBA Pro

Becc is a posing coach at the Australian Posing School, home to 93 Pro Cards and 25 Pro Show Wins. Working closely with competitors across all federations and divisions, she has seen the same movement challenges appear again and again on stage. Once you address the movement problem, the posing becomes exponentially more natural.

Introducing

The Pose-Ability Method Workbook

A 32-page clinically-based workbook for competitive bodybuilding athletes who want to move with purpose, pose with power, and perform with confidence on stage and beyond.

This is not a posing tutorial. It's the foundation that makes your posing tutorial actually work.

Built around the science of muscle activation, motor learning, and Post Activation Performance Enhancement (PAPE), the Pose-Ability Method teaches your body to switch on the right muscles at the right time, so that every pose you've already learned becomes more powerful, more controlled, and more natural.

What's Inside

Everything inside is built for one purpose: making your body stage-ready.

01
Muscle Activation 101

Understand why some muscles stay 'off' no matter how hard you train them, and the scientifically-backed method to switch them on before you pose.

02
Tight Doesn't Always Mean Stretch

The truth about muscle tightness that most coaches and physios miss. Discover why stretching can actually make things worse and what to do instead.

03
Twist With Control: Thoracic Rotation

Most stage poses require upper and lower body separation. Learn how to rotate through your thoracic spine, not your lower back. Includes 5 practical exercises.

04
Build the Back: Lat Activation for Shape & Symmetry

Lats that disappear on stage are a muscle control problem, not a training problem. This section gives you the drills to lock your lats in. Includes 7 activation exercises.

05
Glutes That Work: Hip Hinge & Glute Activation

If your lower back is doing the work your glutes should be doing, your side pose suffers. Learn how to finally make your glutes the primary mover. Includes 8 targeted exercises.

06
Grounded & Graceful: Ankle Mobility & Balance

Shaking in your heels isn't nerves. It's a stability deficit. This section trains your foot tripod, calf endurance, and ankle proprioception. Includes 6 exercises.

07
No More Arching: Anterior Tilt & Core Control

Anterior pelvic tilt flattens your glutes and breaks your posture line. Learn how to find neutral pelvis without sucking in or flaring your ribs. Includes 4 core exercises.

08
The Pre-Pose Activation Routine

A 5–10 minute, 10-exercise routine designed to be done backstage before your division. Low equipment, no sweating, no smudging tan. Just your muscles, switched on and ready.

Is This For You?

✓  This is for you if...

  • You're preparing for your first or next competition and want every advantage possible on stage
  • Your lats, glutes, or core just don't seem to show up in your poses the way they do in training
  • You wobble, shake, or feel unsteady in heels during your stage walk or quarter turns
  • Your lower back aches after posing practice or takes over when it shouldn't
  • You've been stretching constantly but still feel tight and restricted
  • You want to understand the why behind the movements, not just be told what to do
  • You're a coach who wants to give your athletes a tool that addresses the missing piece in their prep

✗  This is NOT for you if...

  • You're looking for a traditional step-by-step posing tutorial (this is the foundation that makes those tutorials work)
  • You're not willing to spend 10 minutes a day on activation work in the lead-up to your show

From the APS × UHE Pose-Ability Method Seminar attendees

"
It's amazing how effective these exercises are, and the massive difference they made in 12 months. It really helped my mobility and training. They are my non negotiables and became part of my every day life. And my hubby's too!

"
Having a weak/tight lower back has been holding me back, not just in training but especially in my posing. I could never fully "sit" into that side. Since attending the workshop and doing the right activation work 3x a day, I can finally sit into my "bad" side. My posing coach then said: "You now have a new front pose!" BOOM!

Workshop Attendee
"
After using the methods taught at the workshop before my leg days this week, I have had no lower back pain, and my knee pain has virtually disappeared. I am so grateful you are sharing this knowledge to the world because this is game changing.

Common Questions

I already have a posing coach. Will this still help me?
Yes, and your coach will likely notice a difference too. The Pose-Ability Method addresses why certain poses feel unnatural or stiff. That's almost always a muscle activation or mobility issue, not a posing technique issue. This workbook works alongside your posing coaching to make the technique actually land.
How far out from my show should I start using this?
The earlier the better. The activation protocols and mobility work can be integrated into your prep at any stage. The Pre-Pose Routine is designed to be used backstage on show day, but the underlying exercises should ideally be practiced in the weeks leading up to competition so your body knows exactly how to respond.
My posing feels okay on stage. Why would I need this?
'Okay' and 'commanding' are two different things. If your glutes aren't fully firing, your lats aren't fully engaged, or your core isn't bracing properly, your poses are leaving something on the table, even if they look fine. This workbook is about maximising what you already have.
What federation and division is this for?
All of them. The muscle activation and movement principles apply to every division and federation: bikini, figure, fitness model, physique, bodybuilding. Whether you compete in FMG, IFBB, ICN, NBA, or any other federation, the foundations are the same.
Can I use this backstage on comp day?
Yes, the Pre-Pose Activation Routine was specifically designed for backstage use. It's 10 exercises, approximately 10 minutes, requires minimal equipment, and won't make you sweat or smudge your tan.
Is this a digital or physical product?
This is a digital PDF delivered instantly after purchase. You can save it to your phone, print it, or access it on any device, including backstage on comp day.
